FROM OUR FOUNDING PRESIDENT

The North Coast Art Club officially started in early 2004.

I wanted to take my art further and join an Art Club so as to mix with like-minded people and begin to evolve as an artist, but there were no clubs locally available.

Perth’s northern suburb’s population was growing rapidly and there was a need for a new club to cope with the growing number of artists in the area. With some help of the City of Wanneroo Arts Coordinator and lots of time and determination, the North Coast Art Club got started.

Despite our humble beginnings we’re now thriving, holding regular exhibitions, annual weekend getaways and monthly workshops.

Our members range from well established artists in their own right, to the more aspiring artists keen to make their mark, but what links us all together is the love of ART.

The North Coast Art Club prides itself in being a friendly organization and we encourage our members to get involved in all of our activities and produce a diverse mix of artworks.

Our goals are to present our art to the public and strive to improve our workshops and exhibitions constantly.
