I have always loved art…..painting and drawing and wonder how my life would have been if I had taken up the opportunity I had, years ago, of going to Art College. However, my love of travel won over and landed me in Australia from the UK in the early eighties.
Now that I have more time on my hands, I have picked up the paintbrush again and have enjoyed getting lost in the world of art! I experimented with pastels which I fell in love with straight away which lead me to join the Pastel Society of WA. I belong to NCAC also and paint with acrylics and watercolour and have been dabbling with Alcohol Inks which is taking me outside my comfort zone of Realism, but I love the vibrancy of the colours.
I have been commissioned to do some artworks for friends and family over the past few years. Below are some of the works I have done , including pictures of peoples homes and wedding bouquets.
