Newcastle Community Arts Centre is dedicated to supporting the development of community-focused arts activities by individuals, groups and organisations. NCAC also supports the arts and artists by providing a physical space that houses 30 artist studios and teaching rooms, an artist-run gallery (NAS) and a theatre (the Black Box).

• Each year in September we hold the annual Open Studios which is an opportunity to step inside all the studios and meet the artists.
• NAS hosts the annual NEAP now in its 11th year. (TO VIEW 2011 WINNERS GO TO NAS ON MENU ABOVE AND CLICK ON DROP DOWN MENU)
• The NCAC artists exhibition, MATE,  is held in September each year.
